NSSPC Mini-Grant Opportunities

The main way we support suicide prevention in Nebraska is through our Nebraska State Suicide Prevention Mini-Grant Program that annually awards multiple individual $500-$4,000 grants to local suicide prevention coalitions, Local Outreach to Suicide Loss Survivors (LOSS) Teams, schools, communities, and non-profit entities to support local suicide prevention and postvention efforts.

-In 2019, we awarded $18,596 dollars in mini-grants to 8 recipients.

-In 2020, we awarded $30,289 in mini-grants to 15 recipients located in all areas of the state (from the Panhandle to Eastern Nebraska).

-In 2021, we surpassed $50,000 in mini-grants awarded to Nebraska groups and organizations for suicide prevention and postvention efforts.

-In 2022, we awarded just over $30,000 in mini-grants to 12 recipients.

We at the Nebraska State Suicide Prevention Coalition are proud to announce the opportunity for applying for a 2024 Nebraska State Suicide Prevention Coalition Mini-Grant. This would not be possible without the generous support of the Kim Foundation and our donors. Please feel free to share this opportunity along to any interested parties.
